Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, this concert will kick off a weekend of festivities in Downtown Fayetteville, culminating in the Northwest Arkansas Hispanic Heritage Festival on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1pm-5pm on the Fayetteville Square.

Classically trained at Cuba’s premier conservatories, the seven members of this three-time Grammy®-nominated Afro-Caribbean group are true modern heirs to the rich musical tradition of their native Cuba. The Miamibased Tiempo Libre is celebrated for its sophisticated performances of timba music – an irresistible, dance-inducing mix of jazz harmonies, contemporary sonorities and seductive Latin rhythms.

Their performances are so invigorating that even when you talk about the group, you can’t help but move your hips! Featured on “The Tonight Show,” “Live from Lincoln Center” and “Dancing with the Stars,” and now coming to Northwest Arkansas – one of the hottest Latin bands performing today, Tiempo Libre.
