We are proud of our rich, three-decade history of celebrating and showcasing on our stages diverse groups that reflect our Northwest Arkansas community and the world beyond. Walton Arts Center strives to be an organization that empowers diversity, promotes equality, and showcases all forms of art to the public.

Showcasing diverse art, culture and stories is important. Art breaks down walls and helps us understand and develop empathy for others. We believe that the arts bring people together, and that belief is confirmed every time we open our doors. The arts bridge social, economic and cultural differences, bringing hope to communities and individuals even in the hardest of times.

We serve a vibrant, diverse, creative community, and we are dedicated to continuing our work with stakeholders and patrons to build a more inclusive future for all through our programming.

DEI Vision Statement

Walton Arts Center and the Walmart AMP aspire to be welcoming spaces where people can be their authentic selves. To truly embody our mission, we recognize the importance of reflecting the diversity of our community on our stages, in our audiences and within our workforce, volunteers and Board.
