David Adkin, better known as Sinbad, has kept audiences laughing for two decades in television, notable 1990s films and now, in standup. He starred in his own show television show “The Sinbad Show,” and has made appearances on other programs such as “Saturday Night Live” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Additionally, he starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Jingle All the Way,” and in “Houseguest” with the late Phil Hartman. He was ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time and has built a loyal following with his knack for telling stories onstage. The comedian claims to make story and joke-telling “profound but not profane,” and credits his father, a preacher, with his desire to keep his comedy clean.

Sinbad began his career in the military, serving as a boom operator in the US Air Force. He began doing standup in the evenings whilst stationed in Wichita, Kan. In the early 1980s, he appeared on the competition “Star Search,” and later won a role in the sitcom “The Redd Foxx Show.” Since his time in film and television, Sinbad has continued to combine one-of-a-kind showmanship and an optimistic enthusiasm for life, resulting in sold-out venues across the nation with his one-man comedy shows.

Sinbad is part of the Coca-Cola Night-Out Series.
