The Swingles Invite You to Celebrate Being Together for the Holidays

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, Nov. 28, 2022 – Enjoy an evening with one of the world’s most admired vocal groups, The Swingles, when they bring their Together for the Holidays Tour to Walton Arts Center on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 4 pm. The vocal group will present a festive program of original songs, traditional carols and holiday favorites.

Ward Swingle first assembled the group in 1963, recruiting Parisian singers to translate Bach’s music into vocal arrangements. Since then, the legendary group has made more than 50 recordings, headlined at some of the biggest venues worldwide and collaborated with icons such as Modern Jazz Quartet, Labrinth and Luciano Berio. In 2010, The Swingles founded the hugely successful London A Cappella Festival, complete with workshops, performances and educational opportunities.

Current members of The Swingles are Frederica Basile from Italy, Jon Smith from the United States and Joanna Goldsmith-Eteson Imogene Parry, Oliver Griffiths, Jamie Wright and Tom Hartley from the United Kingdom.

The five-time Grammy®-winning group has appeared on numerous TV shows and movies, including “Glee,” “Sex and the City,” “Wedding Crashers” and Disney’s 2021 Cruella. Their prolific output of videos, impressive repertoire and innovative approach have gained millions of views and fans worldwide.
