Popovich Comedy Pet Theater is Entertainment for All Ages
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, April 19, 2022 – You don’t have to go to Las Vegas to see the best family show on the strip. Walton Arts Center is bringing Popovich Comedy Pet Theater to Northwest Arkansas at 7 pm on Thursday, April 28.
This show is fun for the whole family with a unique blend of comedy and juggling skills of the Ukrainian-born, former Moscow circus veteran Gregory Popovich along with the extraordinary talents of his performing pets. Popovich’s “cast” includes Diamond the Shetland Pony and over 30 performing pets including cats, dogs, geese, white doves and parrots. All Popovich’s pets are trained using positive reinforcement techniques that enhance their natural abilities.
Popovich, a fifth-generation circus performer, also learned from his parents how to develop strong bonds with animals He has rescued a majority of his performers from shelters all over the country, and transformed them into stars. Gregory and his pets were finalists on "America's Got Talent", have been guests on TV shows with Jay Leno, David Letterman and Craig Ferguson and they were featured on Animal Planet.
Ticket prices are $16 to $28, plus applicable fees and can be purchased in-person at the Walton Arts Center Box Office weekdays 10 am until 2 pm, by calling 479.443.5600 weekdays 10 am until 5 pm or by visiting waltonartscenter.org.
