Anastasia Brings History to Life on the Walton Arts Center Stage
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, February 14, 2020 – Anastasia arrives at Walton Arts Center for eight performances March 10-15, and it brings to life a historic story in a unique way.
Tickets for the show start at $40 plus applicable fees and can be purchased in-person at the Walton Arts Center box office, by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org. Patrons also can get reserved parking for $7 when they purchase their show tickets.
The new musical is inspired by the extraordinary story of Anastasia, taking the Romanov legend and creating a completely new version for the stage. Told through a combination of music, heart and technology, the physical production is visually stunning. The lavish production design, which includes video walls and Tony-nominated® costumes, beautifully illustrate Anya’s adventure that stretches from Russia to Paris.
Anastasia is about a young woman, Anya, searching for her family and discovering who she really is in the process. Anya is a strong woman trying to forge her way into the future while simultaneously trying to discover and come to terms with her past. The production is full of everything you expect from a Broadway tour: a Tony-winning creative team, sweeping score, gorgeous sets and costumes, big dance numbers, romance and adventure.
Bring your family and friends to the stunning musical best for ages eight and up. Walton Arts Center is hosting an Emperor’s Ball, Saturday, March 14, at 12:30 pm for princes and princesses.
