The Snowman: A Family Concert Returns to Walton Arts Center

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, November 26, 2018 – Walton Arts Center and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas present The Snowman: A Family Concert on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 pm.

Join us for the fourth annual screening of the 1982 Academy Award®-nominated film The Snowman, based on Raymond Briggs’ classic children’s book of the same name. The film, about a snowman who comes to life, has won the hearts of families across the world for more than 30 years.

Once again SoNA musicians, performing under the baton of acclaimed Music Director Paul Haas, will perform the film’s extraordinary score live along with other holiday favorites in an afternoon that is sure to enchant your whole family.

Come early and listen to a student ensemble from Fayetteville High School perform holiday tunes in Walker Atrium from 1:15-1:45 pm.

After the show the entire family can go to Community Creative Center for hot chocolate, cookies and the opportunity to build a family of snowmen out of clay. You must pre-register online for this activity and the cost is $5 per person.
