World-Renowned Vocal Ensemble Voces8 To Perform at Walton Arts Center

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, November 14, 2017 – Voces8, the British vocal ensemble now established as one of the world’s most versatile and best-loved singing groups, will perform at Walton Arts Center on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 at 7 pm as part of the 10x10 Arts Series.

Touring extensively throughout Europe, North America and Asia, the ensemble performs a repertory from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary commissions as well as popular arrangements. With an on-going program of recordings and live broadcasts, Voces8 is heard regularly on international television and radio, including NPR, the BBC and ClassicFM. Voces8 is a Decca Classics Artist and has two albums, Eventide and Lux, which debuted at the top of the classical charts.

In addition to performing worldwide, the ensemble leads an innovative series of music education workshops reaching 20,000 people around the world annually, with the aim of inspiring creativity and excellence through music.

At 6 pm patrons are invited to attend a Creative Conversation with the ensemble led by a member of Walton Arts Center’s programming staff. Following the show, patrons are also invited to attend an after party with the artists in the Walker Atrium and share their thoughts about the show with the popular Post-It® Note responses.
