Railyard Live featuring Cate Brothers
with Handshake Saints
DATE: Friday, May 6, 8pm
LOCATION: Rogers Railyard Park
ABOUT:
From Springdale, Arkansas, twin brothers Earl and Ernie Cate have been performing their unique brand of country soul music since the mid-1960s. Influenced by friends Ronnie Hawkins and the legendary drummer for “The Band,” Levon Helm, the Cate Brothers played every juke joint and dive bar in the mid-South when they first started touring, but have since slowed down – now playing just three or four shows per year, mostly within the region. Don’t miss your chance to see one of those performances when they take the stage at the new Railyard Live concert series.
The Handshake Saints are a hard-working indie rock-n-roll band with a unique sound that straddles roots rock, R&B, punk and soul. At any given moment, the Saints will deliver a passionate, soulful and ferociously rocking performance that leaves audiences clamoring for more.
