Chris Tomlin Brings Holy Roar Tour to the Walmart AMP in 2019

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, October 29, 2018 – Tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 1 at 10 am for Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter and one of the most successful Christian touring artists, Chris Tomlin. Tomlin is bringing the Holy Roar Tour to the Walmart AMP Wednesday, April 17, 2019 with special guests Tauren Wells, Pat Barrett, Nicole Serrano and Darren Whitehead.

Ticket prices range from $25 to $96.50 plus applicable fees and can be purchased by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com. In-person purchases can be made at the Walmart AMP box office in Rogers from 10 am until 6 pm on Nov. 1 or at the Walton Arts Center box office in Fayetteville Monday through Friday, 10 am until 2 pm and Saturday, noon until 4 pm.

As a worship leader and songwriter, Tomlin has sold over eight million albums, 11.3 million digital tracks with 16 #1 singles. Tomlin is one of only four artists to receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 billion d.igital radio streams, other recipients include Justin Timberlake, Pitbull and Garth Brooks. The Grammy® winner’s list of music awards include an American Music Award, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, a BMI Songwriter of the Year Award and more.

Wells is a four-time Grammy-nominated artist, worship leader at Elevation Church and former frontman of the Grammy-nominated band Royal Tailor. His solo hits include “Love is Action,” “Hills and Valleys” and “Undefeated.”

Singer-songwriter Barrett worked with Tomlin on the hit song “Good Good Father” before releasing his self-titled album in July 2018. Serrano is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter with a dynamic voice and contagious passion.

Whitehead and Tomlin released a companion book to the Holy Roar album, Holy Roar: 7 Words that will Change the Way You Worship, on Oct. 26. Whitehead is pastor and founder of Church of the City in Nashville, Tenn.

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011, is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The Walmart AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 13 years. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
