Train and The Goo Goo Dolls Announce Tour Stop at the Walmart AMP

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, November 9, 2018 – Train and The Goo Goo Dolls with special guest Allen Stone are coming to the Walmart AMP on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 as part of the Cox Concert Series.

Tour pre-sale starts Monday, November 12 at 12 pm, and fans can sign up to Train’s mailing list to receive the pre-sale code here. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Nov. 16 at noon.

Ticket prices range from $29.50 to $125 plus applicable fees. Purchase four lawn tickets at the same time, and get the Lawn 4-Pack at a discounted ticket price of $22 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com. In-person purchases can be made at the Walmart AMP box office in Rogers from 10 am until 6 pm on Nov. 16 or at the Walton Arts Center box office in Fayetteville Monday through Friday, 10 am until 2 pm and Saturday, noon until 4 pm.

Grammy®-winning, multi-platinum selling Train announced the tour on the release day of their highly anticipated Greatest Hits album. Train’s Greatest Hits album and epic nationwide tour will celebrate 20 years of beloved music and hits.

The album pulls together 16 fan-favorites like “Drops of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels,” and “Hey Soul Sister” plus a special cover of one of front man Pat Monahan’s favorite songs, George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” - Train’s version features world renowned saxophonist Kenny G. Train’s music video for the cover features Sexy Sax Man and RIchard Karn, Al Borlan from “Home Improvement”).

Co-headlining the tour with Train is Grammy-nominated rockers, The Goo Goo Dolls with Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee and lead singer, John Rzeznik. Special guest Allen Stone is an American soul and R&B singer that will open the tour. Stone started singing in the church choir at age three and cites his musical influences as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin.

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011, is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The Walmart AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 14 years. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
