Capitol Records will release Youngblood, the third studio album from 5SOS on June 22. Today, the band shared the album’s cover and let fans know the title track will be released this Thursday, April 12, at 8 am CT.

On Youngblood, 5SOS expands its musical parameters while retaining the hooks and trademark DNA that’s always been a massive part of the band’s appeal.

“Growing up is what we had to do on Youngblood,” said Hemmings. “Seven years as a band may seem like a long time, but we were teenagers when we started. We had to look at each other and say, ‘Are we going to stop now, or do this forever? Because if we continue, then we have to go further than we ever have before.’”

5SOS will perform “Want You Back,” the first single from Youngblood, on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, April 11. The track debuted at #1 on iTunes in more than 18 countries and has already amassed more than 60 million streams.

Hailed as the “biggest new rock act in the world” by Rolling Stone, 5SOS is the only band (not vocal group) in history to see its first two full-length studio albums enter the Billboard 200 at #1. 5SOS’s self-titled debut album has sold more than three million units worldwide, with 1.5 million albums and more than 4.5 million single tracks sold in the U.S. alone. Sounds Good Feels Good, released in 2015, charted at #1 in 12 countries, including the U.S., the U.K. and Australia. “She’s Kinda Hot,” the album’s first single, topped the iTunes charts in 44 countries.

5SOS – comprising Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/bass) and Ashton Irwin (vocals/drums) – has won an American Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, an iHeartRadio Music Award, five MTV European Music Awards, two ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011, is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 12 years, including rock, country and pop. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
