Niall Horan Coming to the Walmart AMP in 2018

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, September 14, 2017 – Niall Horan is the first artist to be announced on the 2018 Cox Concert Series at the Walmart AMP. Horan is bringing his Flicker World Tour with special guest Maren Morris to the Walmart AMP on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and music starts at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 22 at 10 am. 

Ticket prices range from $29.50 to $107 plus applicable fees and can be purchased in person at the Walmart AMP Box Office in Rogers, by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting The Walton Arts Center Box Office in Fayetteville will be closed on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23 due to the 2017 Bikes, Blues and BBQ rally.

Horan has sold more than 70 million records as part of the all-conquering group One Direction and has toured the globe numerous times.

He has spent the past year working on Flicker, his debut solo album set to release Friday, Oct. 20 on Capitol Records. His latest single, “Too Much To Ask,” was co-written with long-time collaborator Jamie Scott.

Horan launched his solo career with his debut platinum single “This Town,” released in 2016, which sold more than three million track equivalent units globally. Combined streams now surpass 350 million worldwide. The Los Angeles Times said, “The guitar ballad is a tender, swoon-worthy number” and Entertainment Weekly hailed it as “a wistful tale of young love lost.”

He followed up the ballad’s release with the grittier R&B-infused track “Slow Hands,” which went straight to No. 1 in 44 countries and continues to climb the charts around the world. Line of Best Fit said, "He's shed his squeaky clean onesie and donned a crooner coat, giving us one of the coolest, catchiest choruses of 2017 in the process."

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011 is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 12 years, including rock, country and pop. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
