TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!” raves the New York Post for JERSEY BOYS, the 2006 Tony Award®‐winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how four blue‐collar kids became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were 30! JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, features their hit songs “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” “Oh What a Night” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” “IT WILL RUN FOR CENTURIES!” proclaims Time Magazine.

The JERSEY BOYS creative team comprises two‐time Tony Award®‐winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bon Gaudio, lyricist Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Jersey Boys is not recommended for all ages.  The show contains smoke, gun shots, strobe lights, drug references, sexual situations and authentic “profane Jersey language.”  Parental discretion advised.

JERSEY BOYS is a Broadway musical. In fact, the show’s script is so dynamic, JERSEY BOYS has been called “a play with music.” JERSEY BOYS is not a tribute band or impersonator group.

Writers Marshall Brickman (Annie Hall, “The Tonight Show”) and Rick Elice (pronounced “Ellis”)(The Addams Family) sat down with Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio and Tommy DeVito (three of the original Four Seasons) in order to write this rags‐to‐rock‐to‐riches story.

Bob Gaudio supervised and wrote the majority of the music in JERSEY BOYS and won his first Grammy® Award for the Original Broadway Cast Album.

JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway on November 6, 2005.

The national tour of JERSEY BOYS began a 12‐week run in San Francisco, CA in December 2006. Due to popular demand, JERSEY BOYS extended three times for a total run of 48 weeks at the Curran Theatre breaking the box office record twice. There are currently six (6) productions of JERSEY BOYS worldwide: Broadway (New York), two National Tours, London, Las Vegas and Adelaide, Australia.
