Walton Arts Center continues their comedy series and welcomes back David Sedaris for an evening of conversation and masterful satire followed by a 20 minute Q&A session on Thursday, April 23 at 7 pm. There will be a book signing in the lobby immediately following the performance. Ticket prices range from $38 to $58 and can be purchased by calling our Box Office at 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.waltonartscenter.org.

With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. Sedaris is the author of Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice, as well as collections of personal essays, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and his most recent book, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls.
Join us for an evening of conversation and masterful satire as NPR humorist and The New York Times bestselling author shares top-of-mind reflections from his collection of oft-snarky and sarcastic personal essays.

“SEDARIS’S DROLL ASSESSMENT OF THE MUNDANE AND THE ECCENTRICS WHO INHABIT THE WORLD’S CREVICES MAKE HIM ONE OF THE GREATEST HUMORISTS WRITING TODAY.” THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE
