Based in Springdale, Proyecto Tumbado performs a modernized take on both old and new regional Mexican music. It’s just four guys from Arkansas giving it all to their music!
Local LatinX DJ, Susie Q has a knack for creating a vibe. A regular at corporate events and festivals in the area, including Bikes, Blues & BBQ and the Slaughter Pen Jam, Susie Q accepts the responsibility of doing one’s research and having what she calls “DJ etiquette.” After being approached and mentored by a fellow female DJ, Susie Q began to play the role she always unofficially played: the one that gets everyone dancing. With an emphasis on the importance of giving ladies space in the DJ & emcee game, her main message is “if I can do it, anybody can!”
