VoiceJam A Cappella Festival Returns to Walton Arts Center

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, November 28, 2017 – Now is the time to submit your audition videos for VoiceJam, the annual a cappella festival produced by Walton Arts Center. The festival will light up Northwest Arkansas with smooth harmonies and unbelievable beats in April, and any a cappella group of three or more can audition to be part of it.

Video audition submissions will be accepted from November 30, 2017 through January 31, 2018. Registration, competition criteria, submission information and festival details can be found at VoiceJam Compete.

Up to eight groups can be selected to compete, and the finalists will be announced on February 3, 2018. A cappella fans and finalists will converge on Northwest Arkansas for a weekend of activities April 6-7, 2018 including the VoiceJam Competition on Saturday, April 7, 2018 hosted by Deke Sharon, dubbed by Entertainment Weekly as "the father of contemporary a cappella." The VoiceJam Grand Champion will have the opportunity to attend the Vocal Asia Festival in Taiwan.

Based in Orlando, Fla., VoicePlay performs their own incredible brand of entertainment across the country and around the world. What began quite literally as a street corner barbershop act has now evolved into an internationally acclaimed touring sensation. Seen nationwide on Season 4 of NBC’s “The Sing Off,” this five-piece vocal band’s show is full of on-stage antics, soulful vocals and catchy tunes.

This is your chance to witness the hottest vocal bands from around the country competing for the title of VoiceJam Champion. Hosted by a cappella producer Deke Sharon, the competition portion of the VoiceJam Festival is full of audience participation and fun for all ages. Come cheer on these vocal masters and cast your vote for aca-fan favorite!

Walton Arts Center is Arkansas’ largest and busiest performing arts presenter.
