  • Over the next couple of years, we have plans to renovate and add nearly 30,000 square feet of space to the Walton Arts Center campus, once again, transforming Dickson Street.   • Fayetteville City Council chose the Theater Lot for parking deck
  • The Fayetteville City Council has recently chosen the Theater Lot as the location for the planned 246-space parking deck. The plan requires demolition of the Walton Arts Center administrative offices, which is good news in that it expedites the Walton Arts Center plans to expand the Fayetteville facilities. ...read more

  • WAC Council Endorsed Expansion Concept
  • The Walton Arts Center (WAC) Council endorsed a concept for the expansion of its Fayetteville theater complex at a board meeting Tuesday, September 25.   • WAC Feasibility Study Summary
  • In 2008, Walton Arts Center commissioned a feasibility study to look at the need for additional theater space in Northwest Arkansas. That study indicated a need for a 2,200+ seat and a 600-seat venue, in addition to our current 1,200-seat theater. In 2010, the Walton Arts Center Board decided to locate the large hall in Bentonville and the mid-sized hall in Fayetteville, close to the current theater.   • WAC Council Approved Recommendation to Pursue Expansion
  • On December 1, 2010 the Walton Arts Center Board of Directors approved a Facilities Committee recommendation to pursue an expansion in Fayetteville and in Bentonville.
