The Walmart AMP is excited to announce that recording artist Pedro Fernández will perform on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015. Doors open at 6 pm and music starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 26 at 10am. Biography (English): Pedro Fernandez began his international career when he was seven years old, as a result of his movie and album titled “La de la Mochila Azul” (the girl with the blue backpack). Like many good singers of Ranchera Music, he was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on September 28, 1969.
To this date, Pedro has 39 records, 6 soap operas and 25 movies. He continues to captivate audiences – in Mexico, the United States, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Spain, etc. – and break generational barriers, whether by singing romantic ballads or cheerful songs, always with his particular style and charisma.
Prior to the release of his self-titled album, he was the main character of the popular soap opera “Hasta que el dinero nos separe” (until money take us apart) co-starring Itati Cantoral, a favorite soap opera among Hispanics that remained at the top of ratings charts in Mexico, the United States and Latin America and reached historic audience records.
From his first film “The Girl with the blue backpack” to his last soap opera “Until money take us apart” to “Lo mucho que te quiero,” “Mi forma de sentir,” “Vamos a platicar,” “Quien,” “La mujer que amas,” “Los hombres no deben llorar,” “Deseos y delirios,” “Fueron tres años,” “Laberintos de pasión,” “Aventurero,” “Yo no fui,” “¿Cómo quieres que te olvide?,” “Escúchame,” “Me encantas,” “Amiga por favor,” “Dime mi amor,” and “Que esto que lo otro,” Pedro has remained close to his fans who reward him by filling his concerts and buying his records. He also has multiple gold, platinum and diamond awards as well as a Latin Grammy.

Biography (En Espanol): Pedro Fernández comenzó su carrera internacional cuando tenía siete años de edad, a raíz de su álbum y película “La de la mochila azul.” Como todo buen cantante de música ranchera, nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco, el 28 de septiembre de 1969.
A la fecha, Pedro ha grabado 39 discos, seis Telenovelas, 25 películas y continúa cautivando al público en México, Estados Unidos, Centroamérica, Chile, Bolivia, Perú, Venezuela, España, etc, al romper barreras generacionales, interpretando con igual calidad y éxito lo mismo baladas románticas que temas alegres, pícaros y “dicharacheros” siempre con un estilo muy particular, producto de su gran carisma.
Previo al lanzamiento de su disco, Pedro Fernández realizó la telenovela “Hasta Que el Dinero Nos Separe” al lado de Itatí Cantoral, haciendo de esta telenovela una de las favoritas del público mexicano la cual siempre se mantuvo en el primer lugar de rating a nivel nacional alcanzando niveles históricos de audiencia.

The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011 is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 10 years, including rock, country and pop. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
