Walton Arts Center continues their 10x10 Arts Series with Koresh Dance Company, a Philadelphia-based contemporary dance troupe who tests the boundaries of performance. There will be one show on Friday, March 6 at 8 pm in Walton Arts Center’s Baum Walker Hall. Tickets range from $10 to $25 and can be purchased by calling our Box Office at 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.waltonartscenter.org.

Superb technique. Emotionally compelling. With stunning athleticism, this company’s ten dancers seamlessly shift from explosive and passionate repertoire to moments of intimacy and restraint. The Koresh Dance Company strives to be an artistic force by creating innovative and emotional dance performances for audiences around the nation. Koresh was founded in 1991 by Israeli-born choreographer Ronen Koresh who trained at the esteemed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City. The dance troupe has toured the world performing a fusion of choreographic styles including ballet, modern dance and jazz. Performing to a musical score of contrasts – Middle Eastern music juxtaposed with classical favorites – the dancers deliver an artistic experience that Northwest Arkansas won’t soon forget!

Support for the 10x10 Arts Series performance by Koresh Dance Company is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Art Works and by Denise and Hershey Garner. Media Support for this performance is provided by NWA Business Journal and KUAF.
