Rare Scotch Whiskey Sampler
For the third year, the Rare Scotch Whisky Sampler will return to the Winemaker's Dinner Auction. This offering is the best yet with 3 very rare whiskies that are excellent to drink or collect. The sampler includes a 1984 Isle of Jura bottled at 30 years age to commemorate George Orwell's novel "1984" which was written on the island, and an amazing 52 year old whisky from the long-closed Lochside Distillery that is 1 of only 83 bottles produced. The third whisky is the rarest of the rare --from Glen Keith Distillery, now closed as an independent bottler; from Moon Imports "The Sea" series, 1 of 360 bottled 28 years ago in 1988. This whisky is almost unobtainable now, with only rare offerings on the private market. Included in the sampler are a decanter and glasses from Waterford's Mad Men series produced in '60's style to honor the long-running television series. This item is valued at over $3000!
